VAPING AROUND THE WORLD
What are the laws on Vaping abroad?
The laws on vaping differ around the world so it is crucial you do your research as not to get in any trouble with the law if you’re caught with a vape in a region that prohibits the use. Can you fly with a E-Cigarrete?
After having a look at some of the top airlines we found the most airlines have pretty similar rules when it comes to vaping. Whether you fly Ryanair or Emirates you’re not allowed to put your vape in your hold luggage. If you are to travel with a vape it’s to be kept in personal carry-on luggage. Another rules most airlines have is that your vape must be stored in a separate carry case from the rest of your luggage to ensure that it isn’t accidentally fired during the flight.
Some airlines go a bit further than this thought, for example KLM will ask you to remove the batteries in your device and have them stored in a separate carry case. If for whatever reason you don’t however have a case to hold the batteries they will require you to seal both ends of the battery with a non-conductive tape and have them stored in a clear plastic bag.

It is illegal to buy e-liquid or e-cigarettes anywhere in Turkey. E-liquid can’t be manufactured in the country. There is no law against actually using an e-cigarette in Turkey, so technically, as a tourist you could bring your vape kit with you, but our advice is to leave it at home if at all possible. If you really need your vape by your side, try to be respectful and discreet.
